Abhijit joined the Fremont Bank family in May 2024. Prior to this, he managed commercial and residential real estate, a dental office and various asset portfolios. Before moving to professional investment management, he was a technical manager at Cisco Systems, responsible for AI based cyber threat intelligence, managing teams of engineers, delivering solutions to protect customers from online threats.
An avid student of economics and statistics, Abhijit enjoys investigating the interplay of forces that drive economic growth and welfare. Abhijit holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Davis and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical and computer engineering respectively.
Abhijit lives in San Ramon, Ca, with his wife and two sons and is passionate about civilizations and prosperity. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and playing/watching sports with family and friends.
