Matt serves as a financial advocate. He takes the time to understand what his clients want out of life – for individuals and for their family. For individuals and entities alike, Matt employs a comprehensive planning approach combined with investment and risk management.
His investment-advisory discipline incorporates financial planning, investment management and insurance solutions for individuals, entities, small-business owners and families who desire the assistance of a financial advisor. The desired outcome of his relationship with clients is to bring clarity to wealth management issues. Further, aiming to provide relief from the stress and burden of financial matters, offering clients the freedom and confidence to do those things in life they are passionate about.
Matt has served as an advisor for FB Investment Services, A Division of Fremont Bank since October of 2015, but is not new to the investment and risk management industry. He has served institutions and individuals since 2003 and in the Bay Area community since 2006 with his CFA and eventually obtaining his licenses in 2015. Matt has served as an educator, teaching investments and risk management at the graduate level for the University of San Francisco.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Belhaven University in business administration. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation, a globally recognized, graduate level investment credential that is issued by the CFA Institute. Matt is FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered through LPL Financial and is licensed with the California Dept. of Insurance.
Matt and his wife and two boys, live in the East Bay. Matt is an active member of his community and the investment community in the Bay Area. With his free time, Matt enjoys coaching youth sports, running, cycling, some golf, outdoor recreation, and spending time with his growing family.
